Jeff Matthews

Jeff was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1974 and his family moved to New York in 1979. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1996 and went on to work at The Ryetown Hilton in Rye, NY. After that, he went to Abigail Kirch Culinary Productions, a large volume high-end caterer and Restaurant X, and then Bullyboy Bar, a fine dining restaurant in Congers, NY. In 1998 he moved to College Station, Texas and worked at Briarcrest Country Club, then moved on to The Faculty Club on Texas A&M Campus and finally transitioned to Executive Chef on Campus with campus food services. Jeff and his wife moved to the Dallas area for several years where he worked in corporate test kitchens and a fine dining movie theater. They moved back and currently live in South College Station with their three young boys. Jeff’s passions are God, family, cooking, hunting, and shooting.

Laura Leminger

Laura Leminger grew up as an Air Force “brat.” Her father was in the Air Force for 26 years, requiring their family to move around until he retired in New York. Leminger moved to Texas in 1986 and began working with Johnny Lampo only 2 weeks later. Leminger worked for Lampo when he owned a Pizza Hut. When Mr. Lampo sold his business, she began to work for Frank and John Lampo at Tejas Café and Bar. However, they wanted out of the restaurant business, so Chris Lampo hired her as his Administrative & Reservation Manager. As of 2018 she has worked for the Lampo family for 32 years. Laura is married with two wonderful children. Both children work at Christopher’s while attending school.

Rafael Roberto Saca

Rafael was born in El Salvador in 1957. He attended the same private Jesuit catholic school from 1st to 12th grade. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1983 with a degree in Food Science and Technology. Rafael is married to Carmen Saca and together have 3 girls, two of whom graduated from Texas A&M University. The youngest is also attending Texas A&M as well. Rafael started his career in the restaurant business in 1986 when he opened an Argentinean Steak House, Gauchos. After moving back to the USA, he bought the Fajita Ritas Restaurant and Pelican’s Wharf. In 1999 he became General Manager for Cheddars in College Station, until 2011. He then began a restaurant Consulting business. In 2013 he joined Christopher’s restaurant as a Service Manager where he enjoys spending time in the food industry.

Karin Shepard

Karin feels blessed to have worked at Christopher’s World Grille for the last 18 years. As Lead Server, she has been allowed to follow her life passion for people and service. She is originally from Southern California where she graduated from San Diego State University in 1982. Karin moved to Texas in 1994 where she promptly met her best friend and now husband, David.
